Role Description As a Senior React JS Developer – Team Leader (Backend, SaaS, Software) in a volunteer capacity, you will help design, develop, and maintain web-based solutions that support The Tann Mann Gaadi’s wellness and sanitation initiatives. In this remote role, you will lead a small technical team, define architecture and best practices, and coordinate frontend and backend development for SaaS-based applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing React JS components, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring secure, scalable backend functionality. You will collaborate with other volunteers to translate project requirements into technical solutions, review code, mentor team members, and contribute to documentation and testing. This position is unpaid and suited for individuals who wish to use their expertise to advance a social impact mission. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong front-end development skills, including React JS and Redux.js. Candidates should possess solid back-end web development skills, with experience in designing and integrating APIs and working with server-side technologies. Candidates should possess robust software development skills, including JavaScript proficiency and familiarity with modern development tools and frameworks. Experience leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and setting development standards is highly beneficial. Background in building or maintaining SaaS platforms and scalable web applications is preferred. Ability to work independently in a remote, volunteer setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate across diverse disciplines. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with an interest in social impact and public health initiatives. 6 to 20 years of coding experience A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
