Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of IOCombats ("we", "our", or "us") at iocombats.com. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Account Creation and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use IOCombats.
- Each person may hold one account only. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent content limits or subscription caps is prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2. Subscription Plans and Billing
- Early Access pricing: Available at ₹299/month (or ₹2,990/year) until December 31, 2026. Once you subscribe at this price, your rate is locked for the lifetime of your continuous subscription.
- From January 1, 2027, new subscribers will pay ₹599/month (or ₹5,990/year). Existing subscribers at ₹299/month are not affected. Current pricing is always shown on the Pricing page.
- Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly cycle as selected at checkout. Your billing date is the date you first subscribed.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
3. Free vs. Pro Access
A summary of what is included in Free and Pro tiers is available on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to adjust the features included in each tier with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- After cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.
- We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except within the 7-day full refund window described in our Refund Policy.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download any content from the platform using automated tools
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense any IOCombats content, including interview questions, challenges, or blog posts
- Submit plagiarised code as your own solution to any challenge
- Post abusive, harassing, or defamatory content in comments, submissions, or any community feature
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
- Use the platform in any way that violates applicable Indian or international law
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
3. Intellectual Property
All platform content including interview questions, UI challenges, build blocks, system design articles, blogs, prompts, code examples, logos, and visual design is owned by IOCombats or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.
Code and comments you submit to the platform remain your property. By submitting, you grant IOCombats a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use your submissions for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
4. Limitation of Liability
IOCombats is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose.
While IOCombats is designed to help developers grow and prepare for interviews, we make no warranty or guarantee regarding job outcomes, interview success, salary outcomes, or hiring by any employer. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IOCombats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
5. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
6. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints related to content or user data:

7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of IOCombats after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
