Role Description As a Frontend Web Developer at HACKWAYS, you will build and maintain user-facing features for our event management and discovery platform. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves implementing responsive interfaces, optimizing performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into high-quality, accessible web experiences. Daily tasks include writing clean, modular code, integrating APIs, troubleshooting UI issues, and participating in code reviews. You will also contribute to improving frontend architecture, enhancing usability, and refining the overall user experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular), HTML5, and CSS3. Candidates should possess Responsive Web Design skills, with experience building mobile-first, cross-device compatible interfaces and optimizing for performance and accessibility. Candidates should possess Web Development skills that cover core web technologies, API integration, version control (e.g., Git), and basic security best practices. Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including problem-solving, debugging, unit testing, and working within collaborative development workflows. Candidates with familiarity in Back-End Web Development (e.g., RESTful services, Node.js, or similar technologies) are preferred, to enable effective collaboration across the stack. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Additional beneficial skills include experience with UI/UX principles, build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap), and working on event or SaaS platforms. Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment is required.
