MERN Stack with AI Assisted Development (Trainer) Work Location : Remote / Online Working Days : Monday to Friday (After 3 .00 pm ) Salary : Hourly basis About the Role We are looking for an industry mentor to deliver a 24-hour, mentor-led programme in MERN Stack with AI Assisted Development. The mentor will guide learners from modern JavaScript through React, Node.js and Express, MongoDB, application security, and full-stack integration and deployment. The role calls for practical demonstrations, clear technical explanations, and patient support during guided coding exercises. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing and deploying MERN applications and can help learners use AI coding assistants for generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review. They should be able to verify AI suggestions and explain secure, maintainable coding practices. Key Responsibilities • Deliver interactive sessions and guided coding labs across all six programme modules within the proposed • Explain ES6+ JavaScript, asynchronous programming, modules, error handling, Fetch API, and JSON through practical exercises. • Guide learners in building React components using JSX, props, state, events, core hooks, routing, forms, validation, and API integration. • Demonstrate Node.js and Express routing, middleware, REST APIs, CRUD operations, error handling, Postman testing, and API documentation. • Coach learners in MongoDB document and collection design, Mongoose schemas and validation, CRUD operations, relationships, indexing, and basic aggregation. • Teach registration and login, password hashing, JWT authentication, protected routes, role-based access control, environment variables, and secure API practices. • Support the capstone by integrating the employee management frontend and backend, configuring MongoDB Atlas, preparing a production build, deploying, and validating the application end-to-end. • Demonstrate AI-assisted component and API development, debugging, testing, documentation, security review, and refactoring while checking generated output. • Conduct pre- and post-assessments, quizzes, doubt-clearing sessions, and practical reviews; track progress and provide actionable feedback. • Prepare or adapt starter code, lab instructions, exercises, and assessments; document learner outcomes and contribute to the consolidated trainer performance report. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills • Strong practical knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and Mongoose. • Experience building reusable frontend components, integrating APIs, and developing and testing RESTful backend services. • Working knowledge of authentication, authorization, password hashing, JWT, environment configuration, and secure application development. • Experience with Git, Postman, MongoDB Atlas, full-stack deployment, and end-to-end validation. • Ability to use AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, assess generated code critically, and explain testing, performance, and maintainability considerations. Experience Minimum3+ years of hands-on experience building full-stack JavaScript applications, including practical work with the MERN stack. Experience mentoring or training learners is an advantage. Soft Skills • Clear technical communication and the ability to explain complex concepts through live coding. • Patient, learner-friendly approach to debugging and code review. • Strong facilitation, assessment, feedback, and progress reporting skills. • Ability to manage session time and collaborate with programme stakeholders. • Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Experience delivering instructor-led or industry training in full-stack web development. • Exposure to production MERN deployments, automated testing, and AI-assisted development workflows.
