JD - React DeveloperOptum is seeking a React Developer to support the modernization of the Unified Portal platform. This role will be responsible for developing responsive, accessible and scalable user experiences that support redesigned client journeys, onboarding workflows, file management capabilities, account administration and product experiences. The React Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying portal functionality utilizing modern React development practices and enterprise UI frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Develop modern React-based portal applications and reusable UI components. • Build responsive user interfaces supporting desktop, tablet and mobile experiences. • Integrate front-end applications with APIs and backend services. • Participate in technical design discussions and sprint planning activities. • Collaborate closely with UX teams to ensure design consistency. • Develop unit tests and support test automation initiatives. • Participate in code reviews and technical governance activities. • Adhere to enterprise security, performance and quality standards. • Support production releases and deployment activities. • Contribute to portal modernization and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required Qualifications • Strong expertise in React and TypeScript. • Experience consuming RESTful APIs. • Strong understanding of responsive web design principles. • Experience working within Agile software delivery teams. • Experience utilizing Git-based source control processes. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with enterprise portal modernization initiatives. • Experience with WCAG accessibility standards. • Experience developing customer-facing digital experiences. • Azure cloud exposure. • Healthcare domain experience. Technical Stack Required: React, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, Git Preferred: Redux, Material UI, Playwright, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Azure App Services Experience Requirements • 5+ years software development experience. • 2+ years react development experience. • Experience supporting enterprise web applications • Background Verification • Mandatory background verification checks include: • 1.
