Role Description This is a remote internship role for a React Native Developer. The intern will help build and refine mobile features for Mystify, implementing user interfaces, integrating APIs, and ensuring smooth, responsive interactions across devices. Day-to-day tasks include developing new components, fixing bugs, optimizing performance, collaborating with designers and backend developers, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves experimenting with features that enhance anonymity, engagement, and usability, while following best practices in software development and version control. Qualifications Front-End Development and React Native skills, with the ability to build responsive, user-friendly mobile interfaces. JavaScript and Redux.js skills for managing application logic, state, and data flow in complex React Native applications. Software Development fundamentals, including understanding of algorithms, data structures, debugging, and version control (e.g., Git). Basic Back-End Web Development knowledge, such as working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with server-side services. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a collaborative remote environment. Comfort working with design tools or specifications (e.g., Figma) and implementing pixel-consistent UI. Good communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback in code reviews. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
