Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and components in alignment with product requirements and engineering standards Participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical solutions. Implement high quality, secure, and scalable code following established design, coding, and testing practices Collaborate with cross functional teams including Product, QA, and Operations to deliver committed work items Support build, deployment, monitoring, and production support activities while adhering to Agile delivery practices Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with proficiency in Java and enterprise application development Experience working in Agile teams and delivering software using CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools Solid understanding of object-oriented design, coding standards, testing practices and Angular Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and contribute to high quality, scalable solutions At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
