WordPress Web Developer (Elementor Pro) - Remote, Full-Time ​ A fast-growing U.S.-based digital marketing agency that helps home service businesses - HVAC, plumbing, roofing, remodeling, electrical and general contracting - grow through high-performance websites, SEO, Google Ads and branding is hiring an experienced Web Developer. ​ You will build fast, professional, SEO-friendly and conversion-focused WordPress websites for the agency and its U.S. clients, working closely with the SEO, Google Ads, Social Media and Design teams. ​ POSITION SNAPSHOT • Role: Web Developer (WordPress / Elementor Pro) • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent • Work Location: 100% Remote • Working Hours: 40 hours per week, aligned with U.S. business hours • Experience Required: Minimum 4 years ​ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop modern, professional, fully responsive WordPress websites using Elementor Pro. • Build high-converting landing pages for SEO and Google Ads campaigns. • Convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, fully functional WordPress websites. • Customize WordPress themes, templates, plugins and functionality; write custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript where required. • Ensure websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile. • Optimize website performance, page loading speed and Core Web Vitals. • Troubleshoot WordPress, plugin, hosting and website functionality issues. • Maintain, update, back up and continuously improve existing client websites. • Implement forms, tracking codes, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and other marketing integrations. • Apply technical and on-page SEO best practices - site structure, internal linking, schema, redirects - in coordination with the SEO team. • Continuously improve website user experience and conversion rates. • Manage multiple client websites and development projects simultaneously. ​ REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS • WordPress - Expert level • Elementor Pro - Expert level • HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript • Responsive web development and UI/UX implementation • WordPress theme customization and plugin configuration • Figma-to-WordPress development • Website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals • Landing page development • Website troubleshooting, security and backups • Domain, DNS, SSL and hosting management • Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager • Basic technical SEO and on-page SEO implementation ​ Highly preferred: PHP, MySQL, APIs, custom WordPress development, WooCommerce, Git/GitHub and Cloudflare. ​ DESIGN SKILLS (PREFERRED) This is primarily a development role, but candidates with additional design ability will be highly valued: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva Pro, UI/UX design, landing page design, website graphics and brand identity implementation. ​ PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE • Websites built for HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, remodeling, construction, general contracting or other home service businesses. • Experience with local U.S. business websites. • Previous experience at a digital marketing agency managing multiple client websites. ​ SOFT SKILLS • Excellent written and verbal English communication. • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving ability. • Highly organized; able to work independently and manage multiple client deadlines. • Reliable, accountable and team-oriented. • Interested in building a long-term career with the agency. ​ TOOLS YOU WILL USE • Time Doctor for time tracking • RingCentral for team communication and daily workflow updates • Google Workspace • ClickUp or similar project management software ​ REPORTING REQUIREMENTS • Daily update outlining completed work and active projects. • Weekly progress report every Friday. • Monthly summary report. ​ COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Competitive salary based on experience. • Performance-based bonus opportunities. • Full-time permanent position with long-term career growth. ​ PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT (MANDATORY) Applications must include a portfolio showing: • WordPress websites you personally developed • Elementor Pro website examples • Responsive / mobile-optimized websites • Landing pages you have built • Figma-to-WordPress examples, if available • Examples demonstrating website speed and performance optimization • GitHub or coding samples, if available ​ Please clearly state which parts of each website you personally developed. ​ WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Not simply a WordPress page designer.
